Destination weddings are a lot of fun

Combining a wedding and vacation with a group of your closest family and friends makes for amazing time. Add to that resort amenities and you might say you are in paradise.

Most resorts offer their own photographer and you can see their work online but many times you may not even know if it's actually theirs or if that is the person that will be at your own wedding. It's a bit of a shot in the dark.

By far the most important reason for bringing me as your own photographer is that you know what you are getting. You know the quality I will deliver. You will have met with me many times and you will be comfortable with me and my approach. You will know that I bring the knowledge to deal with many different lighting scenarios we will encounter. You will also know that I am committed to you and that I will scope the grounds with you to generate ideas for best locations.

I will also be there for the entire Wedding Day plus at least one more shoot.

Destination wedding coverage in my view should be extensive. Here is what I offer:

ON SITE CONSULTATION - We will meet a day or two before the wedding, walk the grounds and talk about the itinerary of the day and where we should take pictures. I will scope the grounds before then and do my best to observe the locations at actual times when things would be happening so I know the shade locations.

FULL DAY COVERAGE - Just like any wedding I do, I will be with you for the entire wedding day.

SECOND SHOOT - Included is also a second shoot that would be on the beach or perhaps another location close to where we would be staying. Ideas like a trash the dress or a fun casual shoot at a location that is significant to the country/resort/location would be great to have.

ADDITIONAL COVERAGE - I spend considerable amount of time walking the grounds to photograph the ambience of the location.

Depending on length of travel, I can offer discounts to subsidize the cost of travel.

Due to many logistics around this type of booking, we would start with a meeting in person. We would discuss location, travel arrangements, days of travel and package options.

The hardest part of booking me for this kind of a trip is how many weekends I would be away. If we can arrange my travel from Sunday to Thursday, this gives you the best price and good options.

If this is the kind of approach you are looking for, I look forward to hear from you.
